On behalf of the organizing committee of the 2025 Biostatistics Symposium of Southern California, I would like to welcome you to this year’s Symposium on the 21st and 22nd of February, 2025. The Symposium is a 2-day event to be held at Dream BIG Conference Center at Edwards Lifesciences. It is an expansion of the previous Orange County Biostatistics Symposium to be inclusive of the entire Southern California. We have a great program with the theme, “Transforming life sciences through data analytics, innovation and collaboration” that focuses on clinical, statistical and data science aspects of drug and device development. The event includes 2 keynote sessions (Days 1 and 2), a panel discussion on Day 2 and several parallel tracks of invited sessions in clinical/statistics, data science and academic research. In addition, we have about posters to be presented on Day 2. It is a great opportunity to socialize and share your career perspective with fellow biostatisticians.
